My first week end in New castle ..
Newcastle is a tourist town , with very few industrial activity around, and here is one of the beautiful beaches in NEWCASTLE,,, the view was pretty ,, really pretty. Reminds me of Goa:-)

The sand is clear WHITE out here, Every evening cleaners come with metaldetectors and other equipment to remove trash thrown around on the beach,, Facilities are maintained very neatly indeed.

Water was chilling cold that day , and it was already late evening by the time we reached there, in this season it gets dark by evening 6 pm.
Sharing a joke in the Train,, with friends,,
Missing the 8:13 rush in Ambernath Fast :-) ,
The definition of trains being full here is 2 ppl siting on a seat for three.
The public drinking water taps are a bit different here,
You got to press a button on to the side and Water jets out>> Upwards, as shown below.
No need of a glass. Hands don't get wet. Restaraunts in Sydney do not serve water, u got to buy water everywhere , except for Indian restraunts.
A picnic spot on the way from Sydney to newcastle....

The view from top of Lohagad will beat this any time, but the only difference is the number of Personal boats (not seen in the photo ) on the lake.

People are really affluent here, and many are able to afford personal skis boats and stuff.

Another hot thing here is Fishing in these lakes with cold Beer by the side. The Govt has made Barbeue facilities avalable on almost every campsite. Ritya says there are few things better in life than catching fresh fish and eating them cooked on the waterfront with a cold beer on hand and fried / roasted fish on the other.

For all Non vegeterians, just a general note from my friends it seems that the best chicken / fish dishes are only in INDIA, so you might as well stuff up tonight.
The Indian Movie CD shop in sydney , there are also Theatres that play a lot of indian films, so Movie buffs really don't need to worry.
